About me

From the 2019 Regional Press Awards: Weekly Reporter of the Year

I am an NCTJ (Press Association) trained journalist who spent three years traveling through the Middle East and Europe covering stories on Isis and the Ukrainian crisis as a news producer for TV Asahi, a major Japanese broadcaster.

Most recently, I have been working as an Assistant Producer on BBC Radio 4’s topical team and as a freelance audio producer for Whistledown.

Before that, I was the senior reporter for the Islington Tribune which was highly commended weekly newspaper of the year at the UK Regional Press Awards in 2019. I loved every second of my time at the paper which is one of the last remaining independent titles in Britain and is part of the Camden New Journal group. It’s owned by the irrefutably powerful Eric Gordon who refuses to retire at 80 something.
